Cabin Crew Initial Training

The Initial Cabin Crew Course is the first step to achieve a career in aviation.

This training has an intensive theoretical and practical programme that enables candidates to be certified as Flight Attendants in commercial aviation.

The candidates can choose their training location between Cascais and Viseu in Portugal. Theoretical classes are held in fully equipped classrooms and practical training is carried out in dedicated facilities close to IFA.

The ability to swim is one of the minimum entry requirements for the Cabin Crew Initial Training, as it is critical that future Flight Attendants have swimming skills for survival in aquatic emergencies. They must also be proficient in the English language.

When the students successfully complete the course, they earn a “Cabin Crew Attestation” certificate, which is valid worldwide.

In order to apply for an airline in the future, it is necessary to have these documents: an EASA Cabin Crew Certificate together with an EASA Cabin Crew Medical Report.

In addition to this training, it is also possible to complete the VIP Flight Assistant program, which focuses on the main aspects and responsibilities of working aboard corporate aircraft.

For a bright future, IFA opens the doors to the world of aviation.
