Flight Instructor
ADVANCED UPRT FOR FLIGHT INSTRUCTORS

If you want to teach the UPRT Module to students as a Flight Instructor, you will need to achieve this course. Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate and you will be able to teach at any ATO.

Course Description

At the end of the Flight Instructor UPRT course, you will demonstrate your ability to teach UPRT and will obtain a certificate of course completion.

  • Capability to recover the plane from any abnormal situation
  • Preparation both psychological and physiological to react during the events
  • Gain ability to instruct students in and about unusual or dangerous scenarios

Program Training 

  • 7 hours of Theoretical Training
    In theory you will learn:
    – Disorentation
    – Distraction
    – Airplane upset recognition and strategies for recovery
    – Limitations of airplanes
    – Techniques to activate and conduct agitation and surprise
    – Others

  • 4 hours of Flight Training
    In this component you will be training for recovery of:
    – Nose high upsets at various bank angles
    – Nose low upsets at various bank angles
    – Stall events
    – Spiral dives
    – Spins
    – Incipient spins
  • The applicant has to be holder of FI (A) License
  • Have a minimum of 500 hours of flight time in airplanes as pilot 
  • 200 hours minimum as flight instructor
  • Pre-entry assessment
