Cabin Crew Initial Course

«Being a flight attendant has not always been in my mind, but the aviation sector has been present in my family for many years and over the years this ambition has grown. When I finally decided that being a Cabin Crew was the profession I wanted to pursue, I quickly found the IFA that helped me fulfill this desire. My experience at IFA was incredible from start to finish. From the first contact to register for the course to the final goodbye to pursue this career, a very emotional goodbye. Initially I was afraid of how complex it could be to take this course, which in itself carries a huge responsibility, but from the first day onwards I felt the trust and support of all the instructors that I had so much pleasure in meeting, and of all the IFA team, which I always carry in my heart. Very quickly, after finishing the course, I started looking for companies that fit the type of aviation that motivates me and it is with great happiness that I can say that I am currently in the recruitment process for a Portuguese airline, which has always been my priority. Fortunately, the aviation sector has a very wide range of opportunities and if we are persistent and resilient we find employment quite easily. Today I look back and remember IFA as the beginning of this incredible journey that is now beginning.»

«Aviation is my biggest passion. An inexplicable love, which seemed to be disappearing while I was studying to become an airline pilot in the north.Until I realized that my destiny was to become a flight attendant, with IFA, where I realized that I wouldn't be treated like a number but with affection and individually.For a long time it was my second home and it still is.It prepared me to fly around the world, not only because of the knowledge that all the incredible instructors gave me, but also because of the people I met at this school.All with different stories, experiences and even cultures.The best thing about this profession are the trips we take and the people we meet along the way.With IFA I realized not only what I needed to work as a flight attendant, but also how to work as a team, not only during the course, as the job search process can be a little demotivating at times, with the support of right people it becomes lighter.Now, I'm at Klas Jet, a company belonging to the Avia solutions group, and I will soon take my departure flight. «There is no right way to begin describing an experience, a journey, an opportunity or even a family. My name is Tiago and I was part of this journey that is IFA.Why IFA? Or why not another one? It's an answer that I know you will get for yourself, when you go through this great training and support center that will accompany you throughout your aviation journey. Gaining wings in this area can be a process with some turbulence, lots of overwhelming new developments and some unexpected obstacles, but IFA really prepares us in a way that we only realize later and I am grateful to have been prepared by competent trainers, a support from professionals with a lot of experience who pass them on to us whether verbally or practically and the availability of all the background that supports and elevates us when we think we are lost, which in reality we are.I would like to take this opportunity to evaluate in a very positive way the quality of the infrastructures, the partnerships, the opportunities provided to us such as access to open days, the demands on personal grooming work and in a professional environment, the requirements on compliance with working hours and the constant reinforcement in maintaining a good connection with colleagues and people who involve us full or part time. «I am happy to share my experience at IFA, during the initial PNC course.It is a very good school, with excellent conditions and very good people (both in terms of instructors and operations).My experience was incredible, we were instilled with a feeling of "family" throughout the course. You learn a lot related to the world of aviation, but you also grow on a personal level. IFA gave us several opportunities to integrate into the world of work, as soon after finishing the course, IFA brought two major airlines (Ryanair and Emirates) to the school for internal recruitment, which was very positive.Personally, as soon as I finished the course I went to a Hifly Open day, which I am currently part of and will soon start flying.During training for the company, I felt that I was well prepared coming from IFA, as the knowledge I acquired there was very useful and worthwhile.And it's always a pride to say where I came from... «Hello, my name is Felipe, I'm 42/43 years old, I'm from Lisbon and I finished my PNC training at IFA. - Why Cabin Crew?Honestly, it was never one of those "boyish dreams", but as the years went by, the increasingly frequent interaction with third parties (professionals in the field), the stories they told,...All of this was triggering in me, in tune with the passion of traveling, of getting to know new cultures, new customs, the daily experience with different people,... a whole desire and a "pet" of being able to do it myself, in the first person, being able to challenge myself by experiencing and living it!- Why IFA?After researching the different options on the market, within the aviation sector, I must admit that it was almost like "passion at first sight" and I must now, once concluded, stamp the option taken with a "Check"!The entire staff, from administrative to financial, the entire teaching staff, the structure as a whole, were always available, within the scope of their duties, whether to help or even to resolve any issue or topic whatsoever.Therefore, I can only conclude by strongly recommending the training and above all the IFA!»
