Modular ATPL(A)
Course Description
The Modular ATPL course provides all the necessary knowledge and experience, in theory and in flight, to obtain the qualification of co-pilot (First Officer) and to be able to enter the commercial airplane profession.
- Theoretical Instruction on e-Learning: 585h (approximately)
- Theoretical classroom instruction: 58:30h
- Flight Instruction: 225h
- Tests and exams.
Approximately 18 months.
- 1. e-LEARNING with CBT
The e-Learning module ATPL (A) allows you to study at an individual pace, consisting of 14 subjects, subject to 14 exams at ANAC and also classroom training lasting 66 hours. The average time to complete e-Learning is 12 months.

2. NR – NIGHT RATING
- Single engine piston plane (SEP) in night flight: 5h
3. IR – INSTRUMENT RATING
Prerequisites:
- Pilot in Command (PIC) cross-country: 50h
Flight component:
- Basic and advanced instruments: 50h
4. CPL – COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE
Prerequisites:
- Night Rating (NR)
- Instrument Rating (IR)
- Total flight hours: 200h
- Have MEP
Flight component:
- Complex plane: 15h
5. MEP – MULTI-ENGINE PISTON
Prerequisites:
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 70h
- Night Rating (NR)
- Instrument Rating in Single-engine piston (IR/SEP)
Flight component:
- Multi-engine piston flight (MEP): 11h
6. MCC – MULTI-CREW COOPERATION
Prerequisites:
- Valid PPL(A) licence
- 18 years old
Theoretical component:
- Theory: 25h
Flight component:
- Flight in simulator: 20h
- 18 years of age at the end of the course
- Valid PPL (A) license
- High-school certificate or equivalent (recognized by the Ministry of Education)
- Proficiency in English, spoken and written
- Level 4 English certificate (minimum) for non-European citizens
