This is your opportunity to stand out and teach young aspiring pilots to fly on Instruments. 
The EASA IRI course will allow you to instruct students in this category, for the issue, revalidation or renewal of licenses, in the according airplane.

If you meet all the requirements, follow this path and enjoy being a flight teacher with IR qualifications.

Course Description

At the end of the Instrument Rating Instructor course, you will be able to provide IR Training at any ATO.

Training for FI(A) certificate holders:

  • 6 Hours of Flight Training*
  • 10 Hours of Theory Training
  • Tests and exam

*includes one assessment flight

Training for non-FI(A) certificate holders:

  • 11 Hours of Flight Training*
  • 35 Hours of Theory Training
  • Tests and exam

*includes one assessment flight

The duration of this course should only take a few days, but it may vary. Contact us for more information.

  • To be at least 18 years old
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • The applicant must be holder of a CPL(A) or ATPL(A) license
  • Minimum of 400h flown on airplanes and 800 hours of flight experience on Instruments (IR).
