QUALIFICATIONS

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 17 years old to start the EASA ATPL(A) Theory
- High-school completed
- Be fluent in English language (written and verbal): all manuals, tests and ground school exams are in English
- Visa (for non-European students): after enrolment IFA will issue a declaration proving that the student is enrolled and with it you can apply for Student Visa
- Clean Criminal Record (for all countries in the last 5 years when based for more than 6 months)
- Compass Test: psychometrics and motor skills, English, Maths and Physics knowledge are a plus
- Personal interview
- To be able to obtain EASA Medical Certificate Class 1

- 2 trousers

The Theoretical Training includes refreshment Mathematics and Physics classes and internal exams.

Viseu's aerodrome
The Aerodrome in Viseu has a 1200 meter long and 30 meters wide asphalted runaway, being one of the largest airport structures in the center region of Portugal. It has technological equipment to support navigation and landing of the aircraft – “Approach VOR”.
IFA is the only school installed at this aerodrome, allowing the flight time of all slots.
The weather in this region is quite favourable, conceding the flight phase to take place during all months of the year.
