The Boeing 777 Type Rating Course consists of training pilots to acquire all the necessary knowledge to understand the basic functions of airplane systems.
Pilots will learn how to use of the components of each system, training of operating procedures and use of Checklists and instruments.
Students are expected to be proficient in all emergency manoeuvres, operational aspects and work in a multi-pilot environment.

To perform this course, the applicant must hold or had held a Type Rating on a Boeing aircraft. He also has to be eligible for Zero Flight Time Training, in accordance with FCL 730.

Structure

IFA coler bar

Ground School

Approximately 3 weeks duration:

a) Theoretical Instruction – 85h
b) Cockpit Procedure Training – 20h
c) Progress Tests and Final Examination: 7h

Simulator training

12 days duration of which:

a) Simulator Instruction: 44h – 11 sessions
b) Skill Test: 4h – 1 session

ZFTT

Base flight performed in simulator.
